RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF MEMBERS:

Members will have the following rights:

• They will be informed about annual conference and annual general meeting.
• They will have right to elect the Executive Body at the Annual General Meeting for three years.
• They will be eligible to be elected as member of the executive body.
• They will be eligible to be members of different sub-committees.
• They will be eligible to get discounted rates to purchase books published by AISTA, WB.

Members will have the following duties:

• They will follow the memorandum of the society.
• They will try to understand the ethos of the organization in-depth and try to spread those in nearby areas, particularly among the students.
• They will try to organize programs in accordance with the decisions of the executive body.
• They will be ready to accept and discharge all reasonable responsibilities bestowed upon them by the executive body or any other sub-committee of which they may be a member.

Membership form

People intending to be a life member (or an annual member) of All India Science Teachers’ Association, West Bengal will have to fill in the Membership form given here. It can be downloaded, filled in and a scanned copy of the completed form may be sent by e mail. Once the application is approved by any of the office bearers and the information is conveyed by return mail, the life membership fee of Rs 1000/- (annual membership fee Rs.100/-) may be sent by NEFT to Bank. There is provision for institutional membership also. Fees for all type of memberships are given below:
